Advising

Your letter of acceptance into the graduate program will include the name of your faculty advisor. Prior to registering for your first term or soon thereafter, you should meet with your faculty advisor to discuss your plan of study and your specific program requirements.

Advisers are knowledgeable, but following department and University rules and regulations is ultimately the student's responsibility. Students, therefore, should be familiar with University deadlines and regulations published in the PSU Bulletin or available from the Office of Graduate Studies.
