The Department of English offers undergraduate students a diverse array of courses. In addition to studying
British and American literature, students may take courses in African, Native American, Asian, Caribbean, and
Women's literature. Writing courses include composition, rhetoric, fiction, poetry, technical writing, grammar,
and book publishing.

 Are you registering for a writing course that requires instructor approval? If so, you need to send a short writing sample to the instructor. You can find instructors' email addresses on the Faculty page.
