Carol Franks, an award-winning essayist, grew up on a farm in the
Badlands area of North Dakota. Her long list of publishing credits
includes recent works in Oregon Humanities and Sofa Ink
Quarterly. She specializes in courses on creative writing, technical
writing, and grammar.
